Baby Sandwich

I want to squish my little babes. I want to pile them all in a corner on the couch and smell them and kiss them and squeeze them. I can't believe I own these little moppets...

Adult-ish

Soooo three kids down, none to go. I love them dearly. I really do. And I wouldn't change a darn thing about any of them. I really wouldn't. But... (yes there's a but) once in a while, it is nice to get that one-on-one adult (is there a better word for adult? Such an insipid word) interaction that reminds me that I don't only own sweats and hair binders. I own tight jeans and a hair straightener. And I can choose something more appetizing for lunch- not just pb & j or cheese wraps. Just a good convo once in a while. I'm not looking for the heavy subject matter on whether or not I would rather get bitten by a shark or a t-rex. When did I become the adult here?

My Sweet Saturday...

It's Saturday tomorrow and we have a date day! We will be toting baby Cash with us so we can't be too creative. I would love to spend the morning and afternoon going to out-of-the-way antique shops and bakeries but this will probably not happen. Not with the babe anyhow. I will save that for the future when my main squeeze (Al Green in the background) and I have free Saturday mornings of prolonged time to sit with coffee and read local papers and then drive away from the city to find old treasures. Sounds lovely...

Tomorrow we will most likely end up shopping for new running shoes, groceries, and maybe stopping at one or two second-hand shops in the area. Possibly a wine run? We've recently moved and we need some tables and other pieces to put the rooms together. And maybe some art... plants would be nice as well...
